For a long service life these nail niippers are hot-forged from stainless steel and then manufactured in a traditional way. The cutting edges are manually adjusted so that they close precisely and cut the nails cleanly. When it comes to nippers, "precise closing" means that the two cutting edges initially only meet at their very tips, while a small column of light still remains visible between the rest of the cutting edges. The cutting edges close completely from top to bottom, when slight pressure is being applied on the handles. So you can cut your nails cleanly without squeezing them.
Thanks to their total length of 13 cm and the resulting leverage force, these nail nippers are also suitable to cut thicker toenails easily.
The wire spring, which opens the nippers again after cutting, can be exchanged easily in case it breaks after a longer period of use. Replacement springs are available from this shop.
